<p>Hi, I have applied for linden hall as a freshman. I know it's a small, not very well known school, but I've fallen in love with it. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if I'll get in. </p>
<p>My ssat scores were:
Verbal 88%
Math 71% (I thought id do better)
Reading 42% (I am soooo bad at reading comp)
Total 73%</p>
<p>I get A's and mid-high level B's and I'm currently in an honors math class. I also am in the "gifted/talented" group. </p>
<p>For my EC's, I do club swimming (5 years), school volleyball and cross country (2), band (4) and jazz band (2,out of 2 possible years). I was offered a spot in NJHS but I turned it down because of time issues (I mentioned this in my app). I have volunteered at my elementary school for 6 years, and run lots of 5k charity races. </p>
<p>I'm not sure if this is true, but I've heard that Caucasian is a minority at LH. will that actually help?

<p>If your white you are basically automatically let in. I’m sure you will get in, and probably with a big chunk of financial aid too. Some of my friends who go here got below 50th percentile, but they got in because they are white. I got 99th percentile and was accepted within weeks with a full scholarship before I even interviewed. It’s an okay school depending on what your looking for. My favorite part about LH is that you can try new activities and sports without being judged. If you don’t mind being the minority in the dorms then your okay. In the classroom it is different because there are usually basically no asians in the honors classes, especially as a freshman, besides math. Having so many asians is good for the school because they all pay full tuition and this way they can give scholarships to others.</p>
