<p>I typed a whole long schpeel about this and CC deleted it. I'm a new member, pleased to meet everyone!</p>

<p>I'm currently a sophomore in CD 4 (valley of death) and applying to NCSSM.</p>

<p>I have a straight 4.0 unweighted GPA through HS and weighted I have almost a 5.0 GPA.</p>

<p>My SAT score is 2120, but I'm retaking for a 2200+. My math/reading is 1420.</p>

<p>I have over 100 hours of volunteering, and I have been an active member of Key Club through high school.</p>

<p>I have As in all the classes.</p>

<p>Clubs I'm in/was in are Science Days (volunteering teaching science to kids), Key Club, Debate Club, Writing Club, and also Chinese Club. I'm also applying to National Honor Society. I co-founded and am president of Writing Club.</p>

<p>I participate in fencing and various other sports, play piano and guitar, write and am also very passionate about the visual arts. I'm also member of a robotics team.</p>

<p>Appealing is done when you are rejected when decisions are given. I think you do an essay that explains why you deserve to be at NCSSM or something along those lines.</p>
