Any chances would be gratefully appreciated. My dream schools are JHU, Vanderbilt, and Rice. Really Really hoping to get into those!!

Will chance back

I’d say with your test scores as well as GPA you have a wonderful shot at getting into many of the schools on your list. Your EC’s are not weak. Some of them are very impressive.

Chance me back!

:)

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1424544-bad-test-scores-good-schools-williams-colby-usc-etc.html</a></p>

You seem to have interesting EC’s (particularly cricket in the US!) and the GPA/scores to get into those schools! Hit me back http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1424552-chance-me-ill-chance-back.html</a></p>

Interesting? hope thats a good thing…

You have a solid GPA and an impressive amount of service hours. Be sure to talk about your passion for all you community service, as colleges want someone who gives back. I’m working to a GPA like yours myself, buckling down for the rest of the year for sure~

Interesting is unique, and all of these colleges want unique students so it’s definitely a good thing.

bumpppp more advice others please???

You definitely have a shot. Nothing is holding you back except for luck of the draw. Just write great essays, finish your apps, and relax! You’ll be fine.

I think you’ll get into most of your colleges. It’s just that the lack of APs your school provides that kinda screws you over. But you’re application seems very impressive. With your extracurriculars both in and out of school makes you even more special than other smart applicants to the AD.

I would agree. A solid chance at most of these schools. Your extracurric are not weak at all…

Since you’re dual enrolled, I bet you’re pretty bummed that those might not transfer into some of these schools?

I would need more info as to how rigorous is your schedule, what classes are you taking? How many AP? How many college? Honors? Etc. And grades in each. An SAT score would be nice too. However, with a 34/35 ACT score, and relatively impressive GPA, I think you already have a very good shot at nearly all the colleges on your list (Duke, Cornell, and Rice may be a reach, just because of the sheer number of applicants).

Your EC’s are VERY impressive, I think they will be the deciding factor that will push your application over the edge into acceptance almost anywhere.

Over all you seem like a pretty bright applicant. If your love of knowledge matches how good you look on paper, I’d say go for any school you fancy.

JHU ED = match and so the rest do not matter.

i think ur in JHU ed. you do have amazing ECs

Match for jhu ed

bummmpppp please?

You have pretty good chances for most of those schools. Just write good essays, though be aware you’ll be writing a lot, which may affect the general quality of your writing.

Whenever I read UNC-CH, I think of UNC-Charlotte, not Chapel Hill. That aside, A 34 on the ACT should garner lots of positive attention.

P.S. In at NC State–but I’ll bet that you already knew that.

I think you have really good chances at all your schools. You’ll probably get into most of them. I know that UChicago puts a lot of weight on the essays so make them count! Good luck. Chance me maybe?
