<p>You might get in, but considering you’re an out-of-state applicant I doubt it because it’s VERY competitive and the average GPA of admitted freshman is a 4.2 but good luck! I recommend that you go to community college and transfer because, statistically your odds will be greater. I didn’t get in out of high school but I was accepted as a transfer student with a scholarship and I had average grades. <p>You could get in (good SAT score, national merit awards, few ECs…), but as bruin5469 and BubiNuni mentioned above, getting into UCLA is much more competitive for out-of-state applicants.</p>

<p>Your SAT is definitely high enough for UCLA, but I have to agree with everyone else on this thread, your GPA doesn’t seem quite high enough. You could get waitlisted though! Best of luck! You will get into the school that’s right for you!</p>
