idk man its a toss up

Great UW GPA and class rank (only 1 AP score will not shine, however), SAT is in the 25th percentile for Penn (and I’m really not sure if national merit status complements your 2140 SAT, if you think about it, the status is given to high actual SAT scores), good ECs but not much with engineering related. I have seen race being a big factor in some limited scenarios (a mexican in my school got into columbia with a 3.7 UW GPA and 1970 SAT), I would have to say Penn Eng. is a mid-high reach, but I wish you the best of luck nonetheless.

My friend got into Wharton with similar stats, so I’d say you have a stronger than average chance. That said, I wouldn’t be absolutely certain about anyone’s chances at Penn-caliber schools, but I think you’ll get in.

oh I became a national Achievement Finalist Yesterday. And no,National Achievement is different than National Merit. Its given to African American Students with high stats.

low reach

Good class rank and good GPA. Probably you will get into a very good school  I know an afro-american who got into Upenn with similar stats but with a 2170 SAT. Yet, your scores are good and you will get in

Chance me back if you want  : http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1735244-chances-please-full-profile-available.html#latest
