I’m an international student(dual citizen, though) looking to apply to YYGSP SPI this february.Could you please chance me and tell me where I can focus and improve? I would like to point out that I am highly interested in the program for the experience itself, not just to pad my college apps.(will talk about my interests in the essay)

The part im a little worried about 
: I was supposed to take the SAT in 12th later i decided to take it in short notice.(will obviously) take agn. 2030 falls below the avg score.I realllly reallly want to know if this will adversely affect my chances.
Also how much time should i spend on the essays?(the deadline is pretty close).
