Please chance me for the Ivys, MIT, Stanford, and Caltech! Thank you!

P.S. I live on Guam :P just thought that might help

Good for Ivies…

MIT, Stanford, Caltech - Reach

Nothing incredibly special, so HYPSM + caltech are definitely all high reaches, making AIME isn’t that great, USAMO is what is actually good. All the other ivies range from high match (Cornell, Brown) to low reach (Dartmouth) reach (Columbia, Penn). Unless of course you are hispanic/native, in which case nearly everything becomes a match but HYPSM.

MIT, Standford, Caltech- You have a really good chance to get in, however given that have plenty of competition makes you part of the average recruitment. Hopefully, you are granted admission to at least one or more of your chosen schools.

You definitely are academically-qualified for the schools on your list, but so are 20K+ kids every year who apply to those schools! I like your sax skills! ECs are nice, but not head-turning awesome. You have solid chances, but don’t expect to get into all of them  Good luck!

I think you stand more of a shot than most people. Your small school definitely gave you a lot of opportunity, and your SATs are great.

MIT and Caltech are both slight reaches as they are with everyone who applies. Good luck!
