<p>Hi, I was curious how are my chances with UCLA and UC Berkeley</p>

<p>3.97 accumulated GPA- UC GPA 4.0
1990 SAT, superscore 2020
SAT II- chinese with listening- 790
SAT II- Bio M- 760
SAT II- Math II- 770
top 14% out of 768 students</p>

<p>4 years swim - 3 years varsity/ Captain
4 years water polo - 2 years varsity
Club American Cancer Society, Friends for Africa, and CSF</p>

<p>Did you take many AP courses?
I don’t want to rain on your parade, but your GPA is a bit too low for UCBerkeley/UCLA. (The average weighted GPA for Berkeley is 4.39 and UCLA 4.38; it might be 4.19, I’ve heard from other sources). In addition, your SAT score isn’t particularly high for Berkeley/UCLA, because the 75th percentile for both is ~2100.
They don’t look at your SAT II scores, nor really class rank.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, I don’t see much extracurriculars (only sports and school clubs). If you’re a junior/soph/freshman, I would recommend taking more APs and increasing your SAT score, but I don’t know what to say otherwise. Regardless, good luck!
