Please chance me at Cornell Early Decision!

If not, then Colgate. I understand that these chance me things are sort of weird, but I already did one for Colgate so why not for Cornell!!! Thank you so much!

It’ll be a reach for Cornell, but Colgate will definitely be easier. Believe it or not being Asian helps at Colgate.
Pre-Pharmacy major?

@MaizeScream Thanks for your response! How is it a reach? What can I improve for Cornell?

@motherpugger completely disagree with Maize to just flat out say reach and discourage you from applying. Technically I suppose all Ivies as well as Duke, Northwestern, Stanford, U of Chicago, Vanderbilt and others are considered reaches for everyone if you look at acceptance rates alone - even so called perfect candidates, but to look at your stats and flatly say Cornell is a reach is uninformed. You have better stats than me, by a little bit, and your ECs are excellent. I got in ED in December and will be attending in August. And it wasn’t like I got in just barely by the skin of my teeth because I have also received two extra scholarships only give to about 60 people on top of the regular grants - so someone really wanted me I guess. LOL. With you stats you could apply ED to Cornell and RD to Colgate just in case Cornell doesn’t work out. One or both will accept you so you have nothing to lose. Again, on paper you are an excellent candidate for both schools as well as some others I listed above. Go for it.

Im not saying she shouldnt apply but she shouldn’t expect to get in, then be heartbroken if shes denied. Its better to be happy if you’re accepted and not surprised if denied, than to be expecting acception and being confused and sad if denied
