Please chance me at Ivies, Top-Tiers. Promise to Chance Back

Thanks for chancing me for BC! Here you go:

Columbia–reach
U Penn–reach
Tufts–high match
Boston College–low match
Georgetown–low reach
George Washington–low match
Northwestern–high match/low reach
U Michigan–low match
UCLA–match
UC Berkeley–match
USC --match

You have a great shot at all of these schools, and I’ve listed some of your schools in the reach category (especially the Ivies) cause getting in can be a crapshoot nowadays…I hope you get into every single one of these schools! All the best!

Columbia:high Match/low reach
U Penn:high Match/low reach
Tufts:high match
Boston College:low reach
Georgetown:low reach
George Washington: ? don’t know much about the school, sorry
Northwestern:High Match
U Michigan:Low match
UCLA: Match
UC Berkeley: Match
USC:Low match

You’re a strong applicant with great numbers. You have a good amount of awards in various academic and non-academic categories.
Only thing I’d be looking for would be a higher participation in science-based ECs (as you are planning to go into BME/Premed).

Best of luck!

Columbia - high/mid reach
U Penn - high/mid reach
Tufts - low reach
Boston College - match
Georgetown - low reach
George Washington - match
Northwestern - low reach
U Michigan -match
UCLA - match
UC Berkeley - low match
USC - match

I think you’ve got some pretty solid stats and your ECs and awards are also great. You certainly have a shot at all of these colleges but Penn and Columbia are a reach for pretty much everyone, comes down to your essays and recs. As for the others, I think you in for at least five of the ones on the list.

Um… Leaderships look a tad weak VP’s just dont standout like presidencies.
Ok test scores for Ivy, not fantastic.
Columbia: reach
Penn: reach
Everything else: high match/match

Georgetown, BC, Holy Cross are the most well known Jesuit colleges in the USA. You have the stats to get into all of the schools you list.

[Can you name the Jesuit Colleges and Universities? - sporcle](Jesuit Colleges and Universities Quiz)

Thank you jasonInNy and yihanwang91. I chanced you both back.

Northwestern, Tufts, BC, Georgetown, UPenn - strong matches
columbia- low reach

not to worry you have great stats! i dont know much about the acceptance rates or student bodies of the rest but i doubt there any more than a low reach. you’ll get into a great school. best of luck!

In at George Washington. Good chances at BC and Tufts. Georgetown might be a light reach.

Chance me also? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/802020-texas-has-bison-but-vermont-has-ski-slopes-where-shall-i-end-up.html</a></p>

USC, UCLA, UM, Berkeley, and GWU are all safeties for you, IMO. Boston College, Northwestern, and Tufts are all high matches, I wouldn’t worry at those, either, you’re probably in. Although GW and Tufts do tend to have “Tuft’s Syndrome,” or that’s what they call it around here…

And the Ivies, you’re definitely in the ballpark, but it’s a toss-up. Best of luck to you!

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/810722-please-chance-me-these-colleges.html</a></p>

Oh I’ll say one thing that my cousin was rejected (IN STATE) by berkeley and stanford with sat in the 2100’s and 4.0 Unweighted and 4.5 weighted (I think) GPA. So… its really hard.
