...I didn't do as well on my SAT subject tests; will this affect me drastically?</p>

Cross-country for four years; won MVP award for JV sophomore and junior years

Model UN for four years; won various awards on regional, statewide, and national levels and attended National MUN conference where school won Award of Distinction
Secretary of the school's Spanish Club for three years
Started interning at a hospital last summer
Volunteered with a Therapeutic Riding Program for disabled children since 8th grade; moved up to webmaster of their website last year
National Honors Society member</p>

<p>Work experience:
Worked as a tutor for an after-school program for half of my junior year
Started doing private tutoring in Chemistry right after that
I've been using the money to cover school-related expenses for Model UN, clubs, AP courses, and the like</p>

I'm also a National Merit Semi-Finalist as of now; I'm waiting to hear if I've moved up in the competition </p>

<p>Well, I’m not exactly sure of everything that I’m talking about, but I think you at least have a chance! :slight_smile: Your Bs hurt you though, but you have excellent ECs. I think you have a really good chance at Cornell and USC, but Stanford is really competitive, one of my best friends wanted to go there and had amazing everything and she got rejected. Your SAT scores are good, but for the colleges that you applied to probably won’t put you ahead of the game. Your AP classes definitely help you a lot! AP Chem is difficult, so I know that will work in your favor. Oh and good luck with the National Merit Scholar thing! :)</p>
