Yes I applied safety to Loyola Chicago. I plan on studying economics. I value humor but I also don’t want to be poor so I’m not becoming a comedian.
There is geographical diversity (you are, being from Senegal) and there is racial diversity (you’re not, coming from South Asian parents). Here in the US South Asians are considered to be an over-represented minority, and hence do not get a boost in admissions. When it comes to international geographical diversity, the highly selective schools are looking at students who are among the very best in their entire country. Less selective schools would be more interested in you, but will probably not offer you enough financial aid.
