Please chance me at SEAS regular

Hello. I'm Korean schooling at international school in Thailand.

Please remind that I'm on for regular decision and I will apply for financial aid.

Here are my stats:

GPA:3.4/4.0 (G9 3.0/G10 3.1/G11 3.8/G12 will get 3.9+)
Rank:My school doesn't offer rank

SAT 1: I've taken SAT reasoning twice
1. (M720/CR620/W560 EC7) 2. (M800/CR730/WR680 EC 10)

SAT 2: I'm planning to take 4 subjects (Math 2c, Physics, chemistry, world history)
From the last practice test math 2c and world his, score was over 700, but physics and chemistry, I got around 600 for both.

*I took only two science classes which are biology and general science. If I take both physics and chemistry on SAT 2 together, will it give adcom a impression that I am capable of doing science? Now I'm studying physics and chemistry by myself, using books from school book room.

Classes: AP statistic, AP macro economics, AP Calculus BC (No test taking)

EC: 9~12 band (clarinet), 100+ hour volunteer, class VP at G10

Essay: I'm working on it.

Okay, I know my stats are poor comparing to other applicants applying to Columbia SEAS, especially GPA and ECs but I just want to try and leave no regrets behind.

frankly speaking, I don't see you getting an offer, your SAT1 is fine, your gpa is low, despite the upward trend, even your ECs are subpar. most people who apply to seas have SAT2 close to 750-800 esp physics, math and chem. if you get 600s in chem and phy you will give adcoms the impression that you haven't done science and probably are not good enough at it. On top of this if you are international and further applying for financial aid, i simply cannot see you being accepted, to be politically incorrect, if i were you, i would reconsider whether the app is even worth your time.

I know my chances are low.. is there a 1% chance of getting in? If I get 700+ for both chemistry and physics by end of the year

I'd say you have at least a 1% chance if you do well on chem and physics and write amazing essays. What do you have to lose, if you don't apply your chances are always 0%.
