The middle 50% of admitted students for SAS last fall 2012:
SAT: 1710-2010
ACT: 25-30
GPA: 3.5-4.0
HS rank: 79-95

[Rutgers Admissions | GPA’s and SAT’s of previously admitted students, by school](http://admissions.rutgers.edu/academics/admissionsprofile.aspx)

But don’t lose hope because according to the stats, 25% students accepted had lower scores.

I think you are ok for SEBS and probably for SAS.

i’m pretty sure you’ll be okay for SAS, idk for SEBS since I’m not in it. But there is a huge range for SAS students.

You’re SAT is really low, but otherwise you should be fine

thank you all for the replies. i am still in process for both as of today and im anxiously waiting still lol. anyone else wanna chance me? bump

i mean i applied in october and they still havnt given me a response. dont you think they would have rejected me already if they didnt want me? and what do you guys think i have a better chance of getting into - SAS OR SEBS? thank you for your responses!!

Bump please

I think you will get into SEBS before SAS based on SAT score, but there’s really no way to tell. There’s still like a month and a half to receive a response, so hopefully you will hear some good news soon.

They wanted my 7th semester grades, I applied in October. Stats are 1800 SAT with all three sections, and a 3.5 UW GPA.

Pretty annoying in my opinion since I’ve seen people who applied up to an entire month after me with much lower stats get in without a problem.

What schools did you apply to? I got into SEBS and SAS with a 1700 super score and 3.0. I applied in late october.

i applied in late october aswell to sas and sebs at new brunswick but i still havnt recieved any response lol. its mid january already and im pretty nervous. @RUready2017 when did you get accepted? and also i applied to newark just as a back-up and got admitted promptly- do you guys think thats a reason why the havnt accepted me to new brunswick yet?

I applied to SAS, SOE, and RBS all in New Brunswick. I’m not sure what to expect from Rutgers Admissions anymore, I’ve seen people who have applied 2 months later than me with a lower SAT score and the same or even a lower GPA, and they heard back within a week and got acceptance. I want to say don’t worry because you did early action, but for some reason there is no difference between early action and regular action for Rutgers.

Somebody on this forum said that for me they want my 7th semester grades because I applied to two schools that have higher requirements than SAS (SOE and RBS) and so they are requesting grades for all three because of that.

I’m hoping that is the case but I’m not sure. I’m going to call them tomorrow and hopefully get some answers.

yeah rutgers admissions is really weird. keep us updated with what they tell you tomorrow.

December 10th for SEBS and last Friday for SAS.

oh wow, i applied the same time as you with a 3.4 and 1680 and still havnt gotten a response. i also have alot of extra-cir and volunteer hours. @RUready2017 you think i should be worried about not getting in to sas or sebs?

Well I called them today, all they did was transfer me to the wrong department (they sent me to the agriculture department -_______-). Called them again and nobody picked up so I just sent them an e-mail.

Still in process what the hell
