<p>None of your ECs are astounding (good though), your scores are average for engineering, if you applied ED I think you’ll get in. RD I think you have a decent chance. Asian + Male will hurt you the most. The overal accept rate for males to engineering is near 9%. That also includes ED so it’s probably closer to 7% RD and then you’re an ORM, which will just make it harder.</p>
<p>Your stats are excellent. Depends on your essays and letters also but I didn’t realize it was 7-9% acceptance for males to engineering. I feel for Asian males in that regard. </p>
<p>Sorry if I was harsh, I really believe you have a good shot. Computer Science at Arts and Sciences is easier as far as percentage wise, but you’ll have to cater your essay to Arts and Sciences so they don’t think you will just transfer. Maybe talk about how you want a liberal arts degree or to experience a wider field of study. However, students from any college can take classes at Arts and Sciences so maybe talk about a minor you would want to do at CAS. You can only minor at CAS of you are enrolled in CAS so that’s one unique benefit to doing CS there.</p>
