I think that the GW is one of the most competive schools in the school not only because of its acadmics but the location in DC.

I think that admission measures all aspect of you. I was with one with admission officers last week and he has told that we look for the people who are pationate about learning because unilike other schools Gw is not a school where you just learn like you were in high school. It is a school that wants to be involved in the community, takes internships, do prijects with your professors and all of that.

Lastly, I think that you have a pretty good chance of attending GW but i cant gurantee you that because admission are a little tricky.

Your GPA is really on the lower side of the scale, especially when you begin to consider that it is weighted. I think that will raise some concerns in terms of your academic commitment, but it could potentially be overcame by other aspects of the application. You have some Advanced Placement classes, which is good—but they will be looking to see how well you excelled in those classes. In terms of standardized test scores, it is clear that you are in the bottom 25%.

If you applied Early Decision I, I think that will make it easier for you but it could go either way. If your essays are truly strong and have glowing letters of recommendation, it is possible.

It’s a big help that you’re applying ED, if you weren’t I don’t think you’d have a chance. I think your ACT and GPA are really on the low side of the spectrum, but your EC’s show dedication. I think you have about a 30-40% chance of admittance. Good luck!
