Nice consistency in grades  2. Great ECs! 3. I believe you are a shoo-in for your safety schools. 4. As for the biggies, you definitely have a shot. Write amazing essays and recs (I do say this a lot lol).

-Those big schools always have pseudo-Einstein students with out-of-this-world accomplishments. Try to think about your personal qualities. What makes you unique?

So I should try to write something that makes me better than pseudo-Einstein types of student?
What qualities do you think would qualify?

Well, do not write what makes you better because then more times than likely, it will seem like you are a braggart and you are being arrogant. I know this is cheesy but, look inside your heart. Think about something that naturally makes you happy, inspires you, or is your passion that you could write about regardless of an admissions decision. All these reputable schools want good students (which is you) but they want someone with a personality…someone who will contribute to that school. Look inside your heart and take your grades and standardized testing scores out of it. It will come :-)

I’m confused haha, is this for essays? or for something else?

For the essays! Recommendations, I think you will be good. Just get teachers that know you pretty well and can say nice, yet truthful things about you to strengthen your chances.

Also, to add to my resume, (It wouldn’t let me edit)
I’m fluent in Spanish, speaking/understanding, not writing
And understand a fair amount of Tagalog. (filipino)

EC’s
Have been a Student ambassador for 3 years.
Math team for 2 years. (co-captain senior year)
Eucharistic Minister 1 year
Church Altar Server 8 years, (captain 4 years) (co-captain 1 Year)

Thanks so much for your help, by the way.
Would you recommend me taking the SAT’s or ACT’s one time before i finish all applications just to see if i can get a bit higher score? I’m not sure if I can get exponentially higher scores, but if i can get maybe 50-70 points higher, would it be worth it showing that i took it 3 times?

No problem :-). Yes, I would always recommend taking it again (unless you had a perfect score). It wouldn’t hurt you since your scores aren’t bad at all sooo go ahead! Three times is enough anyway.

Also as an addition:
Principal’s Honor Roll 8 times.

and my AP Courses:
USAP
CALC1AP
CALC2AP
CHEMAP
PHYSAP
ENGAP

College Course:
Science and religion.

Reason for non-stellar GPA.
For 1 year each it’s mandatory to take gym/Health Then GYM/drivers ED.
Also Religion is also mandatory, and I was only able to take the only honors religion course, senior year with the Science and Religion Course.

LOL. You are fine! Your additions to your stats aren’t getting worse. I am starting to think you are the pseudo-Einstein I am referring to! Either way, you are in great shape :-)
