*****Please chance me everybody*****

Hello everyone,

this is my first time on this site after a long period in which I looked and scanned it thoroughly. I began my college hunt a few years ago, now I am a rising high school senior who is getting ready to start their applications for the 2017-2018 application season. I thoroughly know I am not the strongest student nor the strongest applicant, obviously, but I am applying to a diverse array of schools in order to throw the dice. So here goes:

Tell me what y’all think. Thank you!

A lot of those EC sounds like fillers…

I would recommend cutting that list in half. Pick the ones that you invested the most in and just go with that. Also, I would avoid the two political ones. One for Bernie and one for Hillary is going to show a lack of commitment, since you did both, rather than dedication.

Thanks for the suggestion. This is overall a list of everything and I really am looking for ideas as to how to do exactly that, and cut back. Thank you.

How about the schools and my stats?

Bump.

Your test scores will be a major obstacle for UC Davis along with the affordability. If you can pay $60K/year to attend (no FA for OOS students) it could be worth an application but you would need to get your SAT scores in the 1300+ range and ACT in the 29+ range. Also agree you need to cut down your EC list since you are usually only given 10 spots.

Thank you. That was really helpful. I’ll have to really improve my scores. I’ve already cut back on the ECs. This is just a full list of my profile. Any opinions though of the other schools? Any suggestions for alternatives? And how about classifying the school’s listed?
