i got in with a 3.4 and a really bad sat scores. i had a great essay. you have a chance ! now does anyone know anything about the ELWR and if i dont pass the test how hard the class for the summer would be ?

Your GPA/SAT combination is light for this school. They do consider other demographics so, it’s hard to say until the official results show up. Unless you have a compelling story, I don’t the odds are very good.

according to this, last year they accepted 22.4% of the people with between a 3.0 and a 3.29 UC GPA (I’m assuming that is what you mean by weighted). http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/campuses/files/freshman-profiles-ca/freshman-profile-ca-ucr.pdf That was about 1,400 people. You don’t break down your SAT score but I am assuming each of the elements was 600 or above which would make it a plus for you, Check out your own actual scores at the link for what percentage of your score band they accepted. You have to eyeball them together. I’d guess you are in the running, but it is a low reach for you. However, the reason you have been seeing higher scores only is that they have been letting the higher scores know first, and I think most if not all are scholarship winners. There will be more people accepted, later.

OMG guys, thanks so much for your input!!! some of ure responses scared me, some were encouraging, but im so glad the wait is over! I HAVE BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION! I have been accepted into their Neuroscience-CNAS program! Thank you so much you guys! I really appreciate it!
