Academics:

-SAT: 1840 superscore (680 CR, 630 W, 530 M)
-In addition to the five APs, over the course of my high school career, I have taken Honors English 1, Honors English 2, and Honors Biology, along with the obvious grouping of traditional college prep courses. I doubled up in math during my sophomore year (took Algebra 2 and Geometry simultaneously), in an effort to get ahead.

-This year, I anticipate taking at least four AP courses.

-Volunteered at a local nursing home for the majority of a summer
-Tutored students in various subjects at the local middle school
-Served as a camp counselor within my suburb’s recreation department

Letters of Rec: Three teachers (including my student newspaper adviser), and the city council member whose campaign I assisted. I have great relationships with all four individuals, and I expect nothing but positive remarks.

Awards:
Several high rankings from my state’s student media association and other similar organizations
Several awards for superior academic performance from the school district

Thanks.

Your EC’s are decent but your SAT hurts your chances at the higher tier universities. I would suggest retaking it and going for 2000+.
Northwestern: High Reach
Case Western: Reach
George Washington: Reach
Cincinatti: Match
I don’t know anything about American.
If you can write some amazing essays you always have a chance at any university. Good luck

Thank you for the feedback.

Northwestern: High Reach
Case Western: Low Reach/ High Match(Since you aren’t applying for engineering or any of the sciences)
George Washington: Reach
Cincinnati: Low Match
American: Match

Thank you.

Northwestern - reach
Case Western - low reach
George Washington - high match
American - match
Cincinnati - low match

If you bring your score to a 2100+ you will be in good shape for Northwestern and Case (meaning you will be competitive)

Good luck!
