Thanks so much

I’m also attending summer college at Cornell; the mind body and health program (3 credits, 3 weeks)

Solid SAT II scores in Bio and US History, and good EC’s, especially being part of the NY State Honor Society. Congrats! You show dedication towards science.

I would suggest scoring 2200+ on your SAT’s, and aiming for all A’s in your senior year.

Overall, you have a good chance at Boston College. Improve your SAT’s and grades, and maybe do some volunteer work or community service this summer, if you have time.

Good luck!

Thanks a ton buddy. I’ve been trying to get myself chanced all day. Yea, I have a lot of community service in boy scouts, and I think I have a solid shot permiting I put the study time in for the sats. Thanks a lot and the best of luck to you

Try to get your SAT up to ~2100. (p.s. Go Long Island!)

Thanks for the help! Where are you looking to go?

My favorite is Wharton, but I’m not gonna kid myself. Lol. Hopefully Haverford, William&Mary, Vassar, or Middlebury.

Chances seem very good if you can improve SATs a bit…2000? I go to a feeder school, so I could be misjudging your chances though… Please see my latest chance thread if you have the time!

With a strong SAT over 2000, you should be in. Also if you can get some better SAT IIs, then you should almost definitely be in Boston College.

Low SAT. Good AP Scores, but I honestly doubt you had 5s on all of them. Something tells me you didn’t.
You have good extracurriculars.
You need more APs.
Do you even have a weighted GPA??

Practice writing and math for the SAT I.
Your SAT II scores are phenomenal.

You should be in. Try taking the ACT. If you do well on that (32+) you’ll be set for college.

Boston college is a catholic school, so they are big on community service. You have really similar stats to me, except that I have a slightly higher sat and you have better ec’s. Chance me back?

Keep in mind for the writing section that the essay is only about 30 % of the score, I believe.

I think u have a solid chance! Just raise those SAT scores by a bit.
Chance me? (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1162189-chance-me-ivys-will-chance-back.htm)l

Wow thanks for all the feedback!!! Yea I’m putting major study time into the math sat component, especially.

To clarify on the ap grades, I havnt gotten them back yet of coarse, but Id say I’m 85% for a 5 on all three of them. There’s this cool site appass.com which will help give u an idea how u did. Plus I did a lot of practice
