Is UC GPA used for admissions?

How do you calculate UC GPA?

@namticity01 I believe it is used for statistical purposes more than admissions purposes; I just wanted to give that info just in case it could be used to gauge my chances
@rokun123 I used this website: https://rogerhub.com/gpa-calculator-uc/ (I believe it is correct but I’m not sure)

bump? bump.

Just off the top of my head.

Brown, UChicago, WashU are reaches for everyone. You have really good chances at any of them though, as long as you get them to nod at your essays.

Rest should be matches. Also, shouldn’t UT be an auto admit for you? (Or I am confusing it with another TX school)

Hope you are prepared for full pay with your family income.

WOW,

It seems like your accomplishments would never end! Such a well-rounded kid!

I’m a freshman, so I might sound a little naive.

I would say you have a great shot at all of those colleges except the UC schools and Brown. For the UC schools, I have heard that if your not from Cal, it’s almost impossible to get in. So I would say you have a good shot for UC, but it will be a little bit of a reach since your OOS. For Brown, just like the other Ivies, it will take a lot of luck to get in. However, your ACT scores should help boost you.

Hope this helps and I wish you the best luck!

@JezRanger I feel OP will likely get into the UCs, but because he is OOS and his family has high income, he will likely receive no aid.
