Well you’ve got the grades and EC’s but considering how competitive Brown is, it’s impossible to tell for sure. Your recommendations and essay will be the deciding factor.

Thanks! I’m confident that at least my recommendations will be really good, I have two phenomenal teachers in mind. Anyways, my main worry is my SAT scores. It’s below the 75th percentile, and I’m wondering if that would be a problem as an ORM.

I think Brown is a reasonable reach for you! Your grades and ECs are awesome, so It’ll all come down to the essays and interviews. But based on stats, you should be a great candidate!

You have an academic and EC profile which many accepted students at Brown have. However many with the same credentials also get deferred, waitlisted, and rejected. Just read through old Brown threads.

Give the application your best effort, but be sure to keep other schools in the running.
Good luck.

What are you looking for that you haven’t heard already?

When you apply to a school like Brown, even with a top notch application, you’ll have lots of company with thousands of other equally strong applications. Yes, give your application to Brown your best effort, but don’t get your heart set on it, and have your “plan B” schools ready.

Your constant “bumping” only shows your insecurity. Is that really the real you who you want to be showing?
