<p>Hi Brown is my dream school and I really want to go there (applying next year c/o 2019) . I was wondering if anyone could chance me for Brown? I would appreciate it alot. </p>

<p>GPA: 3.81 (upwards trend) UW, 4.8 W
ACT: 29 (i'm a terrible test taker)
Taking SAT in October, and SAT II maybe
Course load: Junior year: AP Euro, AP Lang, Honors everthing else (supposed to take 4 APs but budget cuts scewed my schedule up) Senior Year: AP Enviro, AP Stats, AP Chinese, AP Gov
Looking to be environmental science or political science major. Want to be an environmental lawyer.
Extra Curriculars:
President of 2 clubs, VP of 1.
Member of Latino Club, MUN, Animal Rights Club, red cross club, recycling club, Section Editor of Yearbook, Section leader of acapella group, </p>

<p>Job work experience:
tutor elementary school students 4 hrs/week, internship at Shedd Aquarium Spring 2014, Crystal charitable fund scholarship recipient, Geography of Hope Scholarship recipient</p>

<p>Summers:
Environmental service trip to Hawaii sophomore year (volunteer work w/ habitat for humanity, and WAIPA ecological foundation)
Environmental service trip to Belize junior year (volunteer work w/ coral reefs, lionfish population)
will be attending National Hispanic Environmental Council Institute (NHEC)
will be volunteering at Great lakes beach cleanup program daily
Service hours: 160+ </p>

<p>Race: Latino
Income bracket: <$20,000</p>

<p>Ok let me break this down </p>

<p>Plus factors:
Upward grade Correlation , GPA is on target, Decent amount of AP’s/ Rigour in schedule, Low income and high achievements, and finally good EC’s.</p>

<p>Negative factors: ACT is on target for the bottom 25% of admitted for Brown; I’d reccomend not sending it if you score 1900+ on the SAT.</p>

<p>Now heres my opinion of your chances
Brown ( slight reach) * You have good chances, Brown is a top tier school. Good hook on low income.</p>

<p>Honestly you have a good shot, Good Luck in admissions!</p>
