@notsureofchance25 You have a solid academic rigor with all those APs - I only took 7 total. Did you get all As in them? Your ACT is at the low side of accepted averages but you SAT is better. Your SAT II scores are average, not stellar but not a reason to reject you.

Your ECs are about average, maybe even a little less than average compared to some of the other chance me threads I’ve seen. But there’s probably enough there to suggest you didn’t just sit around doing nothing. :slight_smile:

CAS is very competitive and Cornell’s most popular college so you have your work cut out for you. But if your essays tell a good story about your future hopes and dreams with a degree from Cornell and error free, you have a good shot.

From what I have learned through my own process, your family’s income will be helpful too. Cornell would never admit it publicly, but if you don’t need a ton of financial aid, you might get a few more bonus points in your favor. Sad but true.
