<p>You look like a very good applicant for Columbia. Because you are Asian, you are at a disadvantage when it comes to top-tier schools. You have good SATs, Subject Tests, ECs, leadership, and community service. I don’t know why they would not take you. If you don’t make it with ED, I’m sure you can make it in regular decision.</p>

<p>Kind of a side question…is my reading score too low? I mean, nothing I can do now but if I am deferred should I take the SATs again just for CR?</p>
<p>You seem to have everything that you need! Hopefully your essays/recommendations will jump off the page and make the school someone they <em>need</em> to have, not just qualified.</p>
