Senior Year Schedule
AP Calculus AB, AP Physics C, Advanced topics in computer science honors( taken after ap computer science), Principles of engineering, Language arts 4, consumer economics
I got a c in AP computer science because i really screwed up junior year. But now i am turning myself around and pulling High A’s in Advanced topics in computer science
extracurricular activities:
4 years winter track( 1 varsity)
4 years spring track( 1 varsity)
2 years cross country (1 varsity)
paid software engineering internship summer after junior year( i made an iPhone app that 51 hospitals bought and which over 500 doctors use)
developed 3 iPhone apps on my own( dedicated over 200 hours)
Tutored for 1 year in high school
recommendation: 10/10( tutored me in 9th grade and was my teacher in 10th grade)
counselor: 7/10 - pretty generic since i haven’t spoken to him yet besides when i choose my classes for the next year. although he knows about my app development so idk
please chance me for computer science at the following schools: I know that most are reaches with the horrendous GPA, but i’m hoping that my extracurriculars and extensive experience in computer science will partially make up for it.
Im applying to Rutgers(instate), NJIT and Drexel by November 1st . Rest are regular decision because i think my application would be stronger with my senior year grades
