1. no substantial awards
2. only honors I am a part of its National Honor Society
3. No real job

so what are my chances for cornell? Northwestern?

Thanks a lot!

I would say you look very solid for Cornell. Of course admissions for any Ivy League school ends up being kind of wonky and subjective, but you’ve got just a good a shot as anyone else  Northwestern should be easier for you in my opinion. Good luck! Chance me back if you get a chance. hahaha… get a chance… chance threads…whew.

thank you!

Out of ten i would say Cornell is a six because SAT scores are a tad bit low for someone with not too many APs. Northwestern would be easier, id say 7. chance me http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/831718-can-i-get-into-johns-hopkins-engineering-ed-2.html

You are a solid applicant.Good Luck!:)

You’re looking good, but I would be worried that so many people are admitted from your school to Cornell. There must be a lot of students applying, which means you need to make yourself really stand out, so the officers take notice.

I think your chances for Northwestern are higher, but Cornell isn’t a long shot at all.

Good Luck!

Chance me back, please: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/834647-interested-northwesterns-medill-but-i-dont-have-top-grades.html

You have 3.8, but is ranked top 45%? Is this a typo? Of those 20 people going to Cornell, are they top 10, 20, 30, 60%?

good shots at both cornell and northwestern! good luck!
hope you get into both!

please chance back?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/835179-should-friend-bother-apply.html

oldfort:
It’s not a typo lol. My school is a magnet high school with some really hardworking kids. On average the people who get into cornell from my school are in the top 45-43ish%.

thanks everyone! I think I will be retaking the SATs again

I think your SAT tests are fine.

thanks but I think its a good idea just to be on the safe side. Cornell doesn’t even look at writing so I’m looking for a better CR score

solid chance, really try to display your passions in your app,
ur ec are definitely going to help you because it is evident you have diverse activities
work on your essay , good luck

…you didn’t chance back
please chance back
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/835179-should-friend-bother-apply.html

Great shot at both. You seem really “invested” (lol im funny) in business, and that’s a plus. Classes look great, and you took the AP’s related to business, which is what counts.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/835315-chance-son-celebrity.html

I think you mean electives. There’s only one business-related AP I’m taking =(. But I don’t know how much electives play in the admission process

You are not totally ‘in’!!..but you have a very…very…very good shot!! (should I add more very…or you got it??)

Write the most awesome essays!!!..and then message me when you get in Cornell!! :D

You are a very strong candidate and I would say Cornell is a low reach but I am only saying that of course because it’s an Ivy and you know Ivies are very unpredictable. I would say you are mostly guaranteed into Northwestern. Thanks for chancing me btw. Just an FYI WUSTL = Washington University in St. Louis

i think you are probably going to get in based on your stats. but you really need an outstanding essay =]

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/835802-merry-christmas-d-chance-me-plz.html

I think you are a fairly solid applicant. It’s always a tossup with the Ivies, but you look really good, you have pretty good ECs and I think you’re chances are in your favor. Good luck! I’d say you have a 6 or 7 out of 10 chance.

Chance me if you’d like. :)

Nice shot.
