Please chance me for CS at Ohio State University, University of Wisconsin, and Purdue. Feel free to match me as well

GPA: 3.600 unweighted, 3.933 weighted. 9 APs, 1 IB, 2 honors classes. I have 4’s on 5 AP exams so far.
SAT: 1420 (640 english, 780 math).
Extracurriculars: Average
Honors/Awards: AP Scholar with Honors, National Merit Commended Scholar
Thanks!

What major are you considering?

Computer Science. I took AP Computer Science Principles last year and I’m in Computer Science A right now (idk if that matters)

Thanks, I updated your title so you will receive responses from those that are more familiar with CS.

Oh ok, thanks man

What’s your home state?

So Ohio State - is a pre major and you have to get in once there. To me, this is your best odds . Do you know your rank? If I’m reading this right, 98% are in the top 25% of their class.

Your ranking system perplexes me - I assume it’s not .5 for Honors and 1 for AP?

I would apply to your home state school -but others given the areas you chose - might be Pitt (not big 10), Michigan State, Minnesota, Kentucky (SEC), Penn State - those would be schools worth a look.

Thanks for the reply. Ohio is my home state. My public high school does not report class rank. Our GPA system is +0.5 for honors and +1 for AP. However, 3 of my 9 APs are from the current year, which is not factored into the GPA I posted (it’s from end of junior year), which could explain the small difference between my weighted and unweighted if you meant that. Thank you for the matches as well

If you’re from Ohio and want to stay in-state or if money is a factor, look at Cincy, Miami, and how about WVU - not in state but you’d do well merit wise- if money is a factor. You have great schools in the state!!!

Good luck
