PLEASE chance me for Duke, UNC and Wake Forest!!!

<p>Hi, I am a rising senior and would appreciate it if someone would tell me of my chances at UNC Chapel Hill, Duke and Wake Forest. Here is my resume</p>

<p>Unweighted GPA: 3.68
Weighted GPA: 4.69</p>

<p>Class Rank: Top 12% of Class</p>

<p>Awards: AP Scholar, National Honor Society, and Mayor's Award</p>

<p>Extracurricular: I have been playing the violin for 7 years, 300+ volunteer hours, various school clubs
I also organized a charity event in India where people donated money and children's material which I gave to the local orphanage. I raised about $1600 which is about 80000 rupees
I also did a one week reserch study with Duke univeristy and I volunteered at their labs. I can get the woman in charge who works with Duke and is an alumni to write me a letter of recommendation. </p>

<p>I'm an in-state student of Indian heritage
Im sure that i will get good letter of recommendations from my teachers and counselors, I'm just worried that my AP scores and gpa are not that high.

<p>You have a great chance at UNC.
A good chance a Wake Forest.
A okay chance at Duke.</p>

<p>You’ll definitely get in UNC and Wake, Duke is a little bit of a reach but you certainly have a good shot!</p>

<p>I can only really speak about duke, and I know 2 of the most important prices of info are test scores and GPA. The most important is the grades and course rigor, which you definitely are on the low end for duke. I don’t know your test scores, but you should be aiming for at least a 33 ACT or whatever SAT that is. That being said duke takes many other factors into consideration. If you have something unique or special. That could help duke, there is no reason why you can’t get in. I also think you are looking good at the other schools on your list. Good luck!</p>
