<p>Pretty good grades and ACT score, but not ECs are probably not good enough for Columbia since you lack any major awards or do anything too noticable. To be honest, you have a somewhat low chance, though you should still have a shot if you write amazing essays.</p>
<p>SHP is a very good program, but it’s not guaranteed by any means. If you’ve made close contact with one of your instructors in the program, look for one of them to write a recommendation. Also, I think the director said he writes recommendations, but my memory may be off.</p>
<p>You had a rigorous courseload throughout high school and maintained a high GPA, so that’s definitely great. Your ACT is also good, although your SAT is probably on the lower side for them, but ED might push you up a bit. I’d say you have a decent chance, good luck!</p>
<p>You seem like you have a good chance, but so do a bunch of other successful kids applying there. As long as your essays make you stand out, I’d say your in!
