Please Chance Me for Emory, Vandy, W&M, and UM!

Hello, I'm a rising Senior from Florida, and I would like to know what you think my chances are at Emory, Vanderbilt, The College of William and Mary, and the University of Miami.

Me and My Family:
I plan on majoring in something either business or math related, and my parents make a little over $80k before taxes, with 5 of us living in the house. I'm the oldest child, and also a white male, if it is any consolation.

Stats:
GPA: 4.52 weighted and 3.92 un-weighted
Currently ranked #2 in my class of 360 or so
SAT: 2110 Superscore [640 CR] [730 M] [740 W]

Past AP Classes:
AP World History(5)
AP Psychology (4)
AP US History (3)
AP English Language (4)
AP Biology (3)

Senior Year APs:
AP Calculus AB
AP English Literature
AP Macroeconomics
AP Microeconomics
AP Government and Politics

ECs:

Coach for a local Youth Baseball team (ages 12-15), and I had played in that league since tee-ball, and on the same team for about 7 years
National Honor Society (10th-12th, member)
Interact Volunteering Club (10th-12th, member)
English Honor Society (11th-12th, member)
History Honor Society (11th-12th, member)
Spanish Honor Society (10th-11th, member)
Volunteer at my old Elementary school for my 4th and 5th grade teacher
Volunteer with the local soup kitchen via my church

Also, I have my Microsoft Certifications in Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Thank you for your time!

Because of your academics, those are all high matches for you. Unfortunately, I can’t see any high school ECs besides volunteering and honor society affiliation (which has little merit unless you hold a leadership position). Colleges like to see passion in non-academic areas, no matter how seemingly boring. What do you do that excites you outside of school?

Well, the baseball would have to be my favorite thing to do. I feel like I haven’t really done anything out of the ordinary besides that, but my friends at school think that it’s really cool that I’m a coach. Besides that, I like to bowl, play golf, watch movies, swim, and other recreational activities, but they’re all just for fun. I don’t excel in them or anything. I just do them to have fun, like any other kid.

bump (10 char)

Anyone care to give their opinion?

I think you have a good chance at Emory and that UM will definitely be an easy acceptance for you. I don’t know enough about the Vanderbilt or W&M to say but your statistics are great!!!

bump. I’m in a similar situation

Thanks ler1ler2!
