Chance me for Emory?
I'm Asian if that helps??????????????
Many thanks!!!!

ACT too low, especially considering it looks like RD acceptance rate will hover under 20%.

I wouldn’t count on it unless you can get your SAT/ACT scores up. Lots of kids were accepted ED1 this year, so RD will be tougher most likely.

Let’s say that i got accepted to u of m and oxford college. Which one would be best for me to go?:)

emoryhelp:
what will be the chance if he as a 29 on the ACT?

i would say a 29 would help a lot. I know a lot of people in my class who had around a 29-30 (or a ~2000 on the SAT). If you’re serious about Emory, show a lot of interest! Happy Holidays!

Ahhhhhh that is not good… not good for Emory…

Maybe your AP teachers haven’t been preparing you / reviewing enough. You should (should have) taken matter into your own hands, got a couple review books, read, took practice exams…

How have you taken 4 APs and your uw and w gpa are that close?
Have you taken zero honors?
Competitive Emory applicants seem to have 30+ ACT, 2100+ SAT
That should be what you shoot for in your testing. Even then, without appropriate interest, you will likely be declined.
I’m applying ranked 2/19 in class, 4.0 uw gpa and 2180 SAT and expecting a rejection because I have showed no interest.
