Also what book should i use to prepare for the SSAT?
What is A hook?-Do i have one?
Is the math on the SSAT ridiculous (hard)?

Suggestions on how to do better?
Thanks!

My older brother got me a SSAT study guide book which helped amazingly.

lol definitely apply for andover. sooooo much of a better school than exeter. my friend and i are seniors at both schools, and you know what? i love andover and he is somewhat iffy about exeter, regrets his decision of rejecting andover.

LAKJFLF APPLY TO ANDOVER. haha. we have better college matriculation!

anyways your grades are good. i don’t know what type of math you’re taking but the SSAT honestly isn’t…hard. math is really easy, just do practice. a good book… just go to the test prep section at your local Barne’s and Noble’s and pick something out from…idk the princeton review.

and no, you do not have a hook, sorry.

your chances are okay i would say but make sure in your essays or somewhere in your application you can highlight how much of a mature person you, if you have some kind of passion (or if not, how well rounded you are) and how willing you are to immerse yourself in the exeter/andover communities.

Thanks for the Advice but someone told me on a different post that I had a hook, which was that I spoke Hebrew. I hope that that is a hook? What do You think. Whatever, I hope I get in. Well I can’t apply to Anover because one, I don’t have enough time, and two, I live near NY, which is about a three-five hour drive for me up to Andover. I have competed the interview and Exeter has exeeded all of my hopes for it. Once again, Thanks for the Advice!

I am no expert, as I’m applying myself for 3rd year at exeter/andover etc…, but it’s very impressive your commitment to EC’s, and speaking hebre and english fluently is great, I speak it pretty well, and schools I imagine will enjoy having native speakers of another language particularly a lesser common one. You’re grades are great too, and I wish you much luck!
