Please chance me for fall admission

<p>I am originally from Serbia, but because war ravaged my country my mom brought me and my brother here as refugees with only $26 in her pocket. Didn't learn English until the third grade and did not know what I wanted my career to be until last year. I am now determined to finish my degree and begin my career on wall street.</p>

<p>High school gpa: 3.0 (graduated in 2007)</p>

<p>College stats: gpa 3.65 with 58 credits
Grades have strong uptrend after stepping down from my job and going back to college
Gpa prior to spring quarter (2011) 2.44
Spring quarter gpa: 3.65 (13 credits)
Summer quarter gpa: 3.80 (10 credits)
Fall quarter gpa: 4.0 (25 credits)
Every Econ/business class I've taken after my return is a 4.0
Started college in 2007, unsure what I wanted to do I dropped out and became an assistant store manager at Walmart helping run $80+ million dollar supercenters. At 19, I was one of the youngest managers anyone had seen. After two years I determined this was not the right career for me and re-enrolled in school during spring of 2011</p>

Football: 9,10,11,12 grades. Starting H-Back on Washington 3A 3rd place team at state
Wrestling:12 grade. 10-1 invited to regionals, 3rd place at othello invite
Tennis:9,10 grade
Track: 11 grade
DECA: 2 time first place finished at area, state champion in sports and entertainment in 2006. Flown to Orlando Florida to compete internationally
DECA competition coordinator: 12 grade
Walmart university: prior to becoming a manager
Walmart assistant store manager: helped run $80+ million supercenters
Volunteer work: over 100 hours for relay for life and cmn
Worked at local Morgan Stanley branch helping design a portfolio

Presidents list fall quarter</p>

-both said in top 1% they've encountered and wrote amazing reviews</p>

<p>Essay:
-professors say one of the best they've read as well as a solid resume.</p>

<p>References:
-have a ton of professional and professor references ranging from Morgan Stanley to Walmart.</p>

<p>Please chance me on my odds of getting accepted.</p>

<p>Don’t they require test scores or no? I honestly have no idea if you have a realistic chance. You have very unusual circumstances.</p>

<p>It’s waived after your fifth year out of high school. I’m going to take the sat/act this winter though so that shouldn’t be a problem.</p>

<p>In that case, assuming that they measure your scores like they would ours, your ACT/SAT will dictate whether you have a chance. What do you plan on scoring?</p>

<p>I’ve been studying so I could see a 1560+. I have a tutor so I’m pretty far along and should do great.</p>

<p>If you get a 1560 without having been in school for years, I like your chances.</p>
