Your overall app looks good (though your essay is pretty important). But you should try and take a couple more APs next year (as I’m sure you will) since the average this year for GT is 10. Everything else looks good (though you might need to try and boost your GPA a little too to guarantee acceptance). Just make sure you have decent involvement/at least one leadership position in a club within the next year and I would give you a pretty good chance of getting in.
You have good stats but it will be a tossup. Georgia Tech needs to build a class strong enough to maintain competitive (and make up for slightly less strong In-State numbers), while making sure their applicants are not just using the school as a MIT/CalTech backup. And since there’s no ED at Tech, it’s hard to prove whether you’re using it as a safety or not. You have great stats and I hope you get in!
