october 2011 CR 760 math 790 writing 800 Total: 2350</p>

<p>SAT 2: Math2c 660, Literature 660, Spanish with Listening 760 (i'm asian)</p>

<p>AP Scores: world history 3, ap language 4</p>

<p>recommendations: good
EC: good, lots of unique leadership
studied abroad
essays: one is just okay and the second is good</p>

<p>Hooks: first generation college student, low income family</p>

<p>How can one chance you without gpa, classes (APs) taken, or specific extracurriculars? Be more specific</p>

<p>No offense, but those seem like pretty prevalent hooks. And if your essays are average/good, that really doesn’t give you a good chance. Essays are very important.</p>

<p>If you are near-maximum stats (3.9-4.0 GPA in most rigorous available courses, 700+ on every SAT Reasoning and Subject section), your chances of admission are small.</p>

<p>If your stats are lower than that, then your chances of admission go from small to microscopic.</p>

<p>erm…yeah…way too vague…but honestly, I don’t think you can make it in unless your essays are beyond amazing, have a perfect GPA with more APs, and have some sort of exceptional talent in something.</p>
