im originally asian, and would like to know my chances for a few of the top schools</p>

Superscore: CR: 680, M: 760, W: 780 = 2220</p>

<p>ACT: 33 composite (35 E, 34 M, 30 R, 34 S, 9 E)</p>

Physics: 700</p>

<p>APs: Microeconomics (5), Macroeconomics (4), Statistics (5)
This year: Calculus AB, Physics B, Chemistry</p>

<p>ECs: Cricket captain (6 years club, 2 years international); 1st place regionally. 2nd place internationally
Basketball (4 years); 1st place regionally, 3rd place in an international tournament
Website Designing (since middle school); have designed 3 pretty well-known websites
MUN (4 years); president of economic & social commission, ambassador
INJAZ (Small business competition); president and financial director of company
Amnesty international (2 years); vice president and activities director
NHS (2 years); member and head of tutoring</p>

<p>SAT’s are a tad on the weak side but your ACT’s are a bit better, other numbers are pretty good, EC’s are fine. Pretty well rounded in general. Ivy’s are reach for everyone, but you have an ok shot. The other LAC’s I don’t think you’ll have a problem with.</p>

<p>you have awesome stats
the only reason i will say that most of those schools are a reach for you is because they are really competitive in general and they are a reach for EVERYONE.
Having said that, I think you have a really good shot at Brown, Williams, Amherst and Upenn. The rest i would say are reaches.

<p>Wealth of info available on sites like the students review.com, princetonreview.com web sites. Yahoo Answers also is a great resource.</p>

<p>I think the ivy’s might be difficult because of your SAT score but you seem to have a good shot at the rest of the schools. Also, as a side note I think that those websites mentioned earlier might help instead of giving you inaccurate information. </p>

<p>Your SAT scores are definitely not going to help, even superscored, when compared with the competition at a school like Harvard. However, your ECs are quite good, and you’ve shown innovation in helping to start a company. Perhaps if you emphasize this in your application, it will improve your chances. Well, here’s what I think on a 1-10 scale:</p>

<p>Yale - 4/5
Princeton - 3/4
Columbia (College) - 5/6
U Penn (CAS) - 3/4
Dartmouth - 5/6 (essays count a lot here)
Brown - 5/6
Amherst - 5/6
Williams - 6/7
Claremont McKenna - 6/7</p>

<p>In the interests of erring on the side of caution, my projections are extremely dour. You’ll most likely get into the non-Ivies. With regards to the Ivies, they’re a crapshoot. :)</p>

if any colleges accept the january SAT score u should try and take it. bring up that crit!!!</p>

<p>again, ivies are reaches for everyone however, you have decent shots at all assuming your essays are good. i think you’ll get into at least one, at least if those ssays are fantastic. </p>
