Can you chance me for WUSTL( first choice), Upenn, uchicago, northwestren, university of cincinnati, case and denison . Thank you and I will chance back if provided with a link

Also I am a white female from Ohio, and no hooks

Your ACT score is great. Your GPA is high enough.
Have you taken EVERY AP you possibly could? Meaning, if there was AP US History you didn’t take regular history? (I don’t mean that you’ve taken EVERY AP class @ your school…)

I personally think your EC’s are a bit bland. Your summer program is cool, and the fact that most of these things have been 4-year, all years of high school commitments is even better. Still, they don’t stand out to me.

So, while I do call WUSTL a match-high match, what I’d suggest you do is to start writing ESSAYS. I think a school like WUSTL takes these in high regard. Get cracking, and good luck.

Thanks for the quick response  also I have only taken AP’s junior and senior year. Soph. year I could have taken apush but i took honors history/ honors english interdisciplinary class instead.

Penn and Chicago are the toughest on your list. You’ll get in at the others I think.

Obviously U.Cincinnati is your safety. You should also apply to Miami.

Penn and Chicago are major reaches, even with ACT of 34.

WUSTL and Northwestern are doable.

Case Western is a match.

Denison is a match, almost a safety.

Case western: low match
Denison: safety
Cincinnati: safety
WUSTL and Northwestern: match
UPenn and UChicago: reach

Thanks for the chances so far  Would it improve my chances if I took a couple SATII’s? Thanks

any more guesses?

Learn everything you can about WUSTL, visit if at all possible (not that far from Ohio), and then start writing your essay. WUSTL would love to know that they are your first choice, but show them not tell them.

You would actually go to WUSTL over Chicago, Penn or NW? Or is it just because you think you have a better chance of admission there?

I would actually go to WUSTL over them, and i do plan on visiting and doing and interview during the labor day holiday weekend. Thank you so much for the advice

WUSTL is very comparable to the Ivies.

U.Chicago is definitely not for everybody and is very likely the most demanding university in the U.S. No Ivy League school can claim superior academics to Chicago.

Personally, I like Northwestern a lot, but not as much as WUSTL.

bump more opinions please and thank you :)

WUSTL - low reach
Northwestern - match
UPenn - reach (even with high ACT)
UChicago - high reach
Cincinnati - safety
Denison - safety
Case - match

Relatively weak EC for top schools (Penn, Chicago). Commitment to band/GS is a plus. Class over summer is a plus. Challenging senior course load shows academic seriousness. Campus visit/interview advised. Good luck!

Thanks so much  I plan on visiting wustl and possibly u chicago/ northwestren in the beginning of september. Would it help if I dont apply to u Chicago , upenn, and northwestren to show wustl that I am serious about them being my first choice?

bump please :)

WUSTL - Safety
Northwestern - High match
UPenn - High Reach
UChicago - high reach
Cincinnati - safety
Denison - safety
Case - low match

Chance me back
