I am a junior in highschool. I would really like to go to Northwestern University.
My GPA is 4.00 unweighted. My SAT score is 2310.
I have taken 9 AP classes so far and will have taken 15 APs by the time I graduate.
Activities:
Model UN (President)
Orchestra (Vice-President)
LiNK (treasurer)
Beta Club
Key Club
Math Team
National Math honors society
National Honors Society
I have more than 500 volunteer hours from tutoring, teaching kids, and going on mission trips.
People have told me my extracurriculars are not strong enough.
Should I get more involved and try to improve or am I on the right track?
Obviouly, you’re entirely competitive; recommendations and essays may well be decisive. Northwestern is an excellent university and I wish you good luck.
I agree; you are competitive so the essays and recs will make or break your application. Good luck!
