Rank: Top 3% (Very competitive public high school)
Course Load: Will have completed 10 AP courses by graduation - (Senior Year - 5 APs)
ECs: Very strong including work experience, music, varsity sports, leadership, etc.
Essays: Very strong (and UNIQUE) in my opinion (very subjective of course, but nevertheless decent to say the worst)
Recs: Amazing! (This includes teacher recs (3) and counselor recs (1))
Interview: Went very, very well!!!
Hook at NYU: Grandma attended undergrad, grandpa and great-grandma attended grad - I mentioned this in my "Why NYU essay"</p>

<p>I think you definitely have a chance. your GPA and SAT scores are within the range that NYU requires.
However it does depend on what school you’re applying to, keep in mind that Stern and Tisch are the most competitive, for instance. I still think you have a great shot, though. Good luck!</p>
