You probably should have done more non-academic EC’s. You’re Asian so competition will be quite higher for you but your numbers are pretty much perfect. I think you’ll get into at least one of those schools. Did you apply to Cal- Berkeley? You’d have a 90% chance of getting in there because they don’t look at race I don’t think…I’m no expert. Anyway, what’s done is done and all-in-all you are a top competitive applicant for any school you apply too. My guesses?
Princeton 75% Chance
Harvard 50% Chance
GATech 99%
If you’re essay is kick-ass i’m almost positive you will get into GATech and Princeton
Lolz, are you joking? You’re solid for GA Tech. Harvard has a past in making tough (potentially discriminatory) decisions among Asians in admissions, but that shouldn’t affect perfect test scores and GPA. You showed service and leadership. I’m confident for all of the schools. You seem to have quite the promise.
I’d suggest some community service clubs that are medicine related since that seems like what you want to do. Something like a Red Cross program where you help the homeless in your community maybe? EC’s are hard to knack down if you’re not sure what you’ll major in. Look around and have fun! Also get some sports in there! adcoms love athletes!
I appreciate your reply @0br0123 .If i had done JV Tennis for two years(9-10) and joined the Red Cross Club, then what would my chances have been for these colleges?
@princetonhope I think it’s great that you’re looking out for your brother. I’d add in he should try studying abroad in your native country, particularly in a non-american/British school. that’s always a great experience. I’d say chances for top schools with all that would extremely high, 90% s
