Please chance me for RD;Cornell, Duke, Emory, Northwestern, Vanderbilt, WashU(St.L)

Duke=High Reach
Cornell=Reach
NU=Reach
Vandy=Low Reach
Emory=Match
WashU=Match

I think Wash U will be a high reach because they aren’t need blind.

I am surprised you didn’t make ED at Rice. Vandy and Emory should be positive, however do you have a true safety school as a backup?

Yes. I have been accepted to UT Austin and UT Dallas (I was full ride offered here in case other schools screw me over financially for some odd reason)

I think your ACT scores are pretty good, and your ECs, many of which have direct or indirect relation to the subject you are applying for, look promising as well.

Duke - High Reach
Cornell - Reach
NU - Reach
Vanderbilt - Reach
Emory - Match
Washington U - Match

Good luck!

Someone please give me some feedback on Rice chances after deferral.

Wait listed by WashU.

Cornell - Match
Duke - Reach
Emory - High match
Northwestern - High match
Vanderbilt - High match
WashU(St.L) - High match

Don’t sweat it. I’m sure you’ll get into one of them!

Dude he is not a match for Cornell… Lol at this dude ^

I would say that, since they are all extremely selective schools, that they are all reaches for you. However, you do have great ECs and stats, and therefore I believe that you will get into at least one or two these schools RD. Also, don’t sweat it about Rice ED and Wash U RD. The whole thing is like a crapshoot, and even though you were deferred ED, you will likely get in elsewhere RD. Good luck!

Chance me back, please? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1470328-chance-brown-plme-ed.html</a></p>

Thank you for chancing me! If it is not too much to ask, do you think you could also chance my friend? She is really looking for some input on how to improve her chances. http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/pomona-college/1470407-chances-pomona-ed.html</a></p>

I’d say high match for all of your schools except Emory which i’d say is match/low match. Did you get in to WashU?

I was waitlisted. There were about three more kids from my school who were too, but we had someone get in ED

If anyone has any idea when the notifications for Rice/Emory/Vandy/Duke/Cornell/Northwestern are please let me know!

I heard Emory should be the last Wednesday of March and Ivy decision day is the last Friday of March. Northwestern is typically the week before ivy decisions.

Thank you!

I was accepted to the Honors Program at UT Austin. It was a 5% acceptance this year so I feel a little better about the rest of these places.

Rejected at Northwestern
