Princeton has been my dream school since 8th grade, but please be honest :)

Omg another president of bioclub :d

is that bad or good?

You probably have a pretty good shot, but remember so do most people who apply to this caliber of school. You have to understand that applying to this kind of top school is pretty much like a craps shot.

Being from the Middle East will defiantly help, but I don’t know how the financial thing would work. From what I know about Princeton (admittedly little) they have a high average in SAT, that plus you plan to go into medicine, puts you at a disadvantage with your SAT math. Ugh, Some days I just want to strangle those kids who claim the math section is easy…

But you never know how everything might add up, and, at least your not an atypical white kid from New Jersey or New York, your a bit more diverse. You’ve got ECs, and your a woman going into medicine, I’d say your application is up in the air, it could go either way.

Good luck!

well first of all thank you for the chance…your application seems pretty good overall although you have a a good shot at being accepted i should warn you that financial aid and scholarships are extremely limited and hard to get for non us citizens since i was to apply for both princeton and stanford but the sky high tuition and after i knew about that i didnt bother applying…i am not saying you wont get your chance at having a financial aid but if u do get one which is very hard to achieve it will not cover more that 40 % of the tuition costs…please dont take this as something to depressing…MY ADVICE IS DO YOUR BEST AT YOUR ESSAYS AND RECOMMENDATION LETTERS AS THEY DO MATTER MUCH ESPECIALLY YOUR ESSAYS…good luck any way and wish you the best fellow egyptian ;D

Thanks for your advise THEDASHASH. I’ve reviewed the financial aid for Princeton and because I am a U.S. citizen, and low-income, they will pay 100% if I get in. I wish you the best of luck and hopefully we’ll both make it into our dreams schools, inshallah:)

(btw, congrats on the African Cup!!!)

just wondering, why on earth didn’t you use questbridge? it’s a huge advantage imo.

I got the letter really late, I didnt have enough time to write six essays. I could have either used questbridge and send a crappy app to my dream school, or send something that I’m satisfied with in which I was still able to highlight all the points that the questbridge app highlights.
