HI,
I am willing to apply to various US universities.I have got a score of 87% in my X board exams(ICSE). I hope to get approx 90% in my school pre-board and 92-95% in XIIth board(ISC).I have a huge passion for Computer Science. I will be publishing a research paper by November this year.It is a very good topic on which I will be publishing. I have extra-curriculars like ,I am in the school football team,I am the head of the school Computer Department,I am a guitarist in the school band, have won debates in the school and more. I have a perfect SAT score and I hope to get 1600/1600 in my SAT Subject Tests(Maths Level II and Physics). I have participated and won in various competitions against IITians. So taking everything into consideration,I am thinking of applying to the following universities.
Princeton University
Yale University
Dartmouth College
Tufts University
Massechuesetts Intstitute Of Technology
Amherst College
University Of Virginia
University Of Pennsylvania
University of Rochester

I will be applying for need-based financial aid.(almost full aid)
So, I want to know my chances of getting in all of these colleges. And please tell in which of these colleges I have almost full chance of getting in.

Note: I have excellent essays reviewed by 5 teachers and have excellent recommendation letters from my teachers and counselor.

Asking for full aid is going to help you with:

Princeton, Yale, MIT and Amherst.

Your college choices have a wide range. Ranging from the nerdy MIT to the liberal Amherst. If you’re really interested in CS, I’d recommend you apply to Harvey Mudd and maybe keep UIUC as one of your safeties. Also, I’ll be selfish and sell my own uni while we’re talking about CS. Berkeley has one of the best (perhaps the best) EECS departments out there which provides you with a plethora (really, they have four different EECS options!)

But you probably already knew that. On second thought, I’d put Dartmouth somewhere between Match and Reach because I don’t know of their aid policies.

Thanks a lot. Well UIUC and UCB dont FA to international students. So no luck.
I will be publishing in IJCSE. Its a recognized journal in India.
Thanks a lot.

On the subject of Aid, your best bet for getting the desired amount of aid is applying to HYPM-Amherst-Dartmouth, which are need-blind for international students as well. This however, increases the competition. Good luck mate! (I’m watching MasterChef Australia :p)

In terms of match, Amherst is a good opinion but again UPenn and Dartmouth are ivies that have unpredictable outcomes. For example, I received acceptance at Dartmouth but not UPenn. Dartmouth provided me with a little bit of aid but not a whole lot. Things can play either way and putting them under reach would be a more humble attitude when applying.

Overall, perfect stats will not guarantee that you will get into this school or that.

My opinion (and I do not agree with categorizing schools):
CS program:
Berkeley (none/little aid), Carnegie Mellon (none/little aid), Georgia Tech (none/little aid), Cornell (why not TATA?: acceptance rate here will be highest out of all the ivies), Brown (#20 in CS and provides financial aid if you write form while applying).

Thanks a lot for the replies. Can someona please suggest me 3 match and 3 safety colleges for me with financial aid. Please suggest me friends. Please
Thanks
