Your test scores are low but your GPA/extracurriculars are really good, and I know a lot of schools now will consider your application holistically (spelling? hahah) so hopefully that’ll help you out.

 3. Tufts- high match
 4. Wash U- match

cornell doesnt super score though so what is your un-super-scored-score  i think you have a good chance to cornell ed even with a lower sat because of your gpa, ecs, and family situation. not as many aps though you did skip a grade. i think everything besides northwestern, chicago, and maybee cornell is a a medium/high match  good luck! chance me back? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1427201-cornell-chances.html</a> ps: also a cornell lover as well as a cals ed!
i am a parent of a fellow HS senior. we are waiting to hear from Penn on 12/12/12. I just want to congratulate you on all your accomplishments. true, your SAT score is on the lower end. however, if you can come up with stellar essays and convey to the schools that why you deserve to be accepted, you definitely have good chances. i think you are unique. good luck!

thanks for the input  - lucky you get to hear a day earlier than me I get the decision 12/13

bump!!!

Sorry to say, but Uchicago is an extremely high reach, your sat is wayyyy too low, you lack leadership ECs, and your class rigor is lacking.

I think your scores are good, some are a little under for most of the schools you want to go to. ECs are GREAT, IMO. Hooks definitely give you lots of leeway.

You have a lot of choices, so I’ll give them a number rating; 1(low chance)-10(solid chance)

 1. Cornell CALS Early Decision - 7
 2. NYU Stern - 9
 3. Tufts (one of the teachers writing my LORs is an alumni and I went to their diversity weekend) - 8
 4. Washington U St. Louis - 6/7
 5. Rice University - 6/7
 6. USC Marshall - not familiar w this school
 7. UChicago Early Action - 5
 8. Boston College - 8
 9. Emory - 7
 10. Northwestern - 7
