Please chance me for Tufts, Chicago, Cornell, Darmouth, Northwestern and Florida?

For reference, I am an Asian male who lives in Florida with a single mother that makes less than 20k a year.

Some schools I'm applying to:

Tufts- Regular Decision (just went there for diversity weekend and fell in love, a teacher that loves me is writing my letter of recommendation and is a Tufts alumni)
Cornell- ED
University of Florida- I live in Florida, would it be risky/arrogant if I considered this my safety?
Chicago- Early Action
Dartmouth- Regular Decision
Northwestern- Regular Decision
3 Year Graduate (I took enough online classes to skip 11th grade, I'm kinda sure this will hurt me, let me know if I'm wrong)

I know my standardized test scores are low/mediocre, but it's because I'm really young for a senior (just turned 16) and I took all of my English classes virtually- I had to graduate a year early due to personal situations. Does that help my chances at all?

Thank you for your time- WILL CHANCE BACK! :D

What is the GPA system for Florida?

If you get an A, it counts as a 4.0 if it’s regular, 5.0 if it’s honors, 6.0 if it’s an AP.
If you get a B, 3.0 regular, 4.0 honors, 5.0 AP.
etc.

oohtobeagooner you’re wrong. 4.0 scale for regular, 4.5 for honors, 5.0 for AP

that’s weird- that’s how they do it in my county. according to that scale my GPA is around a 4.41

bumpity bump bump

Well UF is definitely a safety. You’re definitely in. Otherwise I don’t know the schools well enough to help.

Tufts: Reach
Chicago: Reach (pay attention to your essays)
Cornell: Reach
NWU: Reach
UFlorida: Safety

are you sure I should make UF my safety? My teacher told me to apply to FSU just in case I didn’t get admitted for some reason

You can have two safeties: FSU and UF.

bumpity bump

If you’re applying ED to Cornell, I wouldn’t recommend applying EA to Chicago. It makes your interest in both schools look weak.

how does that make sense- schools don’t know what other schools you’re applying to

bump- please chance me, promise to chance back!!

Probably could get into Northwestern, just get a high ACT/SAT score

Easier said than done lol- think I bombed the act on Saturday, hoping for a 2100 this Saturday

You’re fine for UF in my opinion, although I would never consider it a safety because many people get denied with stats like yours. Good luck!

Bumpity bump

Bump this thread- please respond
