Applying to:

  • UCI, UCSD, UCLA, Chapman and Cal States

UCI and Chapman are my top priorities. Please CHANCE ME!!! ANYTHING IS APPRECIATED

Chapman is a solid Match for you. UCI Business Admin is a tough admit and you are competitive so probably a High Match to Match.

UCSD could go either way. Consider UCLA a Reach school but you are a qualified applicant.

Best of luck.

Thanks Gumbymom! Greatly appreciate your feedback.

By the way, wondering if I can get any merit scholarship based on my academics either at UCI or Chapman?

UC’s give little merit but you might have a chance at Regents which is $2500/year and renewable.

These were average Stats for last years Regent Scholars:
Our freshmen Regents’ Scholars class of 2021 is an impressive group.
Average High School GPA: 4.30
Average SAT Score: 2226

For Chapman, there are merit scholarships available for in-coming Freshman. If they are automatic, you can check the Net Price calculator here to see if they show up in your cost estimates:

https://www.chapman.edu/students/tuition-and-aid/financial-aid/net-cost-calculator/index.aspx

The Chapman website does not state the required GPA/Test scores for these scholarships:
Academic Scholarships
The Presidential, Chancellors or Provost, and Deans Scholarships are academic awards based on a student’s entering grade point average and test scores. These awards are provided by the Office of Admissions only to new freshmen students who enter Chapman University directly from high school.

Thanks once again, Gumbymom! The data and link is very helpful.
