I don’t know a lot about UT Austin, but from what I do know, you shouldn’t have a problem getting in.

UCSD - low match. You’ll get in with those numbers. 9/10 chance.

As far as your ECs go, they could be more impressive, but at least what you have is strong.

Your scores are above UCLA and Berkeley’s standards, but your activites, essay, and recommendations are important to these schools. Make sure you write a unique and compelling personal statement. It doesn’t have to be deep, just strong.

Make sure you explain to them what went wrong your junior year. Hopefully they’ll understand and work with you.

While your scores are great, you lack in compelling ECs. Your essay and recommendation can make up for this though. To put it in perspective, UCLA alone received 105,000 applications last year, more than any other school in the nation. How will you stand out?

UCLA - 7/10 chance
Berkeley - 5/10 chance

Have you been to either of these schools? UCLA is gorgeous!! But Berkeley is more prestigious and, in my opinion, offers more to its students. I don’t know if I’d be able to choose between them, they’re both such great schools!

Good Luck!

Thank you! I will definitely take your advice into consideration.

UCSD - Accepted
UT Austin - Accepted
UC Berkley - Rejected… Maybe. It depends on your EC’s (since you didn’t elaborate much here) and your essays, but its compsci division is incredibly competitive… sigh LOL
UCLA - Accepted

Good luck with your apps! Maybe I’ll see you at Berkeley next year ;)

Knowing your class rank would be helpful, but your GPA is pretty good and probably will only be a problem at berkley and maybe ucla. Also, you should start your uc application because their grading system might change your gpa significantly. I’d say that you have a very good shot at ucsd and ut austin. Ucla is a maybe and berkley is a bit of a reach (your sat might be slightly low). Also, while some of your ecs are certainly impressive, they dont exactly express years and countless hours worth of commitment to me. Perhaps you should consider refrasing them in your apps. It’s a bit unclear whether they were just competitions or clubs.

Your GPA and SAT might be a little low for Berkeley and UCLA. Other schools are a match.

You should be in at all except maybe Berkeley, that one might be a bit of a toss up. Your ECs are lacking a bit. Write good personal statements and you’ll most likely be fine!

Your GPA and SAT are a bit low for those top 3 UCs but you have amazing awards/achievements that may make up for it because they like doing holistic reviews. You could probably get into SD and LA, not sure about berkeley. I dont know much about the other school though.

SD low match, Austin high match, LA high match, Berkeley reach

UCSD-match
UT Austin-high match
UC Berkley-reach
UCLA-match

Your scores are pretty solid (a bit low for UC Berkeley tho) but remember that this evaluation is only based on ur numbers. I’m sure that you elaborate and paint a more complete picture of yourself through your essays
