@Otusti What I tell everybody from an in state high school, your best indicator is the the recent graduates from your high school. Did students with your general profile (Class Rank and SAT) get accepted over the last 2 years? If you can get that information from Naviance or your GC, that will help you understand your chances better.
@fl1234 I’m close with many people from my school that have gotten accepted. Many of them had significantly lower test scores or gpa, however they usually make up with a much higher gpa/test score for the lack of the other so as someone with about average stats I’m not too sure
@jhmoney Well my school does gpa basically the same way UF does, +1 for ap/Aice/ib, +.5 for honors, and all the classes I’ve taken are considered core classes so my gpa should be similar give or take .1
@Otusti that makes sense!! just out of curiosity, which county are you in Dade Broward Palm beach, Hillsborough? they seem to be 4 of the top counties… not that it means all that much but it seems to be a trend with UF… guessing cause of population size
My daughter had a 3.3 recalculated gpa and 1350. She applied and was accepted for the Summer term. I believe it is easier to be admitted in the Summer. I know they say it is not easier to be admitted in the Summer.
